lied tekamah public library
The design of the addition and renovation of this 1916 Carnegie library for the City of Tekamah hinged on the ability to create a library that was accessible to all. Great emphasis was placed on preserving the history of the existing library which consisted of brick, stone, concrete and decorative glass panels. While the addition included a connecting lobby space with elevator, children's and teens areas as well as staff work area and circulation.
